Navy Gateway Inn Bremerton

We had a great time. All the staff are nice and helpful. This is an old hotel but clean and there is laundry on each floor. It stays cool so there is no A/C but they have fans you can put by the window for air circulation. The location is close to the ferry to go across to Seattle. My only complaint is that the door key system wasn't working but that was a technical issue out of everyone's hands.

Very concrete place of accommodation. Super convenient for me, shopping at Nex and recreation.

Nothing over the top as far as luxury goes. For how old it is, it is very well maintained and kept very clean. Reason for the 4 instead of five stars is the parking. Parking is very limited near the hotel. They have an overflow area but you will be walking for about 10 minutes to get to the hotel from the overflow lot. The parking for the guests is constantly taken up by sailors that live in the barracks on base that are eating at the restaurant directly in front of the hotel. This could be solved by base police enforcing parking restrictions, but I have never seen them enforce any kind of parking on base. Room is cleaned every day, and hotel staff are friendly and will address any concerns very quickly. Laundry is provided for free with two washers and two dryers on each level. There is a small fitness room on the second floor with up to date machines. Easy walk to anything on base.

I'm retired Navy and I stay here whenever I visit my daughter's family in Bremerton. It is on the Navy base and therefore has extremely tight security access. In addition to being safe, it is very clean and very well maintained. Relative to what you will find commercially off the base, it is an excellent value and seems to be extremely well run. However, you won't find little gourmet chocolates on your pillow when you turn in at night. It's not that kind of place. The staff are excellent, friendly, and accommodating. The only negative is the lack of adequate parking and that seems to be a base wide problem. Great place to stay.

Our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children had a 2 night stay at the Navy Lodge at Bangor. We stayed in a 2 Queen standard room with kitchenette. We were provided with a roll away bed. For the price we couldn't be happier. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and adequately stocked. Hotel was quiet and right next to a mini-mart and McDonald's for quick pick up items.

Super great and friendly staff and customer service. Trevor at the front desk is a great example of these leadership qualities along with the rest of the staff front lines and behind the scenes . My dad and I did not stay but just had a quick visit due to the history of the building.

Awesome place to stay and close to everything one would need. The staff is awesome. The room furniture is somewhat dated, but I loved it. The rooms are clean and very spacious. This was my second stay there and will stay again.

Great place to stay on base. The rooms are clean and everything works. The staff here are exceptional! They were very knowledgeable and friendly. We needed alot of help and guidance during our stay and they were always happy to help. Great place to stay. Some rooms have a view of the ship yard and bay.
